Gateway NV59C66U Notebook

 Computer giant Gateway has come out with a new notebook in it's NV series of  computers.  It's called the NV59C66u. This new notebook comes with integrated WiMax 4G mobile broadband capabilities.

When you first look at the NV59C66u it looks is pretty similar to the rest of the NV line. It hosts a list of features including:

• 15.6-inch display
•  802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi
• Webcam
• 4 GB of RAM
•  Gigabit Ethernet
• Intel Centrino Advanced-N+WiMAX 6250 WiMAX Wireless Card

 For people who live in an area where WiMax- 4G, service is an option, the NV59C66u offers high-bandwidth connectivity for people on the go.

On a side note, it doesn’t go back to the 3G network when users move out of range of a WiMax network.

There is a silver lining in the cloud though. Customers can put in a cellular modem, or use a Wi-Fi hotspot like anyone else.

The Gateway NV59C66u comes at a time when customers demand a consistent, reliable and fast internet connection through either a WiMAX service or a standard 3G connection.

The NV59C66u is the first in the newly redesigned line of the Gateway NV-series computers.

The redesigned line will be available with Intel Core i3 and i5 as well as AMD Athlon and Turion processors. You will also have the choice of a 15.6-inch or a 17.1-inch monitor.
Other options also include a DVD and Blu-ray drive along with HDMI output for pushing content to an HDTV.

The Gateway NV59c66u will all also boast an all-in-one media card readers as well as  a backup function to save important documents off to a hard drive or USB device.

Another really cool feature is the  Social Networking button, which enables you to have  quick access to popular networking sites like YouTube, Flickr, and  Facebook.

The new Gateway notebook comes with a standard 4 GB of RAM, but can be upgraded to 8 GB.

The NV59C66u is available now with a tone-on-tone expresso case with prices starting at $699.99. The rest of the revamped NV series will start popping up at retailers in a few weeks with prices starting at $479.99.
